Corinne's back in the road...

al fin! Ya fue lanzado el segundo disco de Corinne Bailey Rae... un poco más soul-pop y menos jazz, aunque algunas rolas siguen manteniendo ese sello, "The Sea" es infinitamente mejor. Muy a mi pesar, aún no lo he encontrado a la venta físicamente, por lo que me he tenido que conformar con bajarlo vía torrent mientras tanto y desde entonces no me canso de escucharlo.

Aquí la letra de una de sus canciones... "I like to call it beauty". Leí por ahí que la escribió después de una plática con el hermano de su difunto esposo, en la que hablaban sobre su percepción de Dios. Concluyeron que es una belleza, cómo a pesar del dolor que puede causarte perder a un ser tan querido, hay una fuerza sobrenatural que simplemente te impulsa a salir adelante.

He visto ese actuar de Dios una y otra vez en muchas personas y me gustó esa frase... i think, as well, i would like to call it beauty.
